We are thrilled to share the success of our second online workshop “The second online workshop of Hydrogen’s role in the energy transition” took place on 28 August 2025.
The workshop brought together 15 participants, including students and academic staff from Aktau region. Our guest speaker Dr. Saule Zholdayakova, Head of the Hydrogen Technology Research Laboratory at KMG Engineering, Kazakhstan delivered an insightful presentation covering the following topics:

- Key challenges: infrastructure, water, and safety
- Opportunities: innovation, entrepreneurship, and careers
- Hydrogen in Central Asia
- Hydrogen in Kazakhstan
